1. What kind of music does Daksh The Band perform?
We specialize in Hindi Sufi, Bollywood Classics, Contemporary Hits, and Original Compositions. Our performances are known for high-energy vibes, soulful renditions, and audience interaction.
2. Where is the band based?
Daksh The Band is based in India, but we perform across the country and internationally for weddings, corporate events, concerts, college fests, and private celebrations.
3. Do you perform only in Hindi?
Primarily, yes — Hindi Sufi and Bollywood are our core genres, but we can also include Punjabi, Indie-pop, and selective English tracks upon request.
4. How can I book Daksh The Band?
You can fill out the Booking Form on our website’s Bookings Page with your event details. Our team will respond within 24 hours to discuss availability, pricing, and requirements.
5. How far in advance should I book?
We recommend booking at least 2–4 months in advance, especially for the peak wedding season and large public events. However, last-minute bookings are also considered if we’re available.
6. What are your charges for an event?
Our charges depend on the type of event, location, performance duration, setup requirements, and number of musicians. Once we know your event details, we’ll share a tailored quotation.
7. What is included in the performance package?
Our standard package includes:
- Live performance by Daksh The Band with full lineup
- Professional Musicians and Instruments setup (if opted)
- On-stage interaction with the audience
- Sound Balancing & Testing 3 to 4 hours prior the start time as per the Event Agreement
8. Do you provide sound and lighting equipment?
Yes, we can arrange professional sound and lighting systems if required with extra expenses, or we can coordinate with your event’s production team.
9. Can you travel for events outside our city or country?
Yes. We perform at outstation and international events. For such events, the organizer is required to arrange flights, visas, hotel accommodations, local transfers, and security as per our Travel & Hospitality Rider.
10. Can you customize the playlist for our event?
Absolutely! We’re happy to tailor the setlist to suit your preferences and event theme.
11. How long is a typical performance?
A standard performance lasts 90–120 minutes (non-stop) or can be split into two sets with a short break. Extended hours can be arranged at additional cost.
12. What is your payment and booking policy?
A 50% advance payment confirms the booking, and the remaining 50% must be cleared before the performance begins (at least 1 day before the event date). All payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in our Refund Policy.
13. Do you perform at private house parties?
Yes, we do — provided the venue meets technical and space requirements for setup.
14. What happens if the event is cancelled?
Please refer to our Refund & Cancellation Policy Page for detailed terms. In short:
- Cancellations by the client are non-refundable but may be adjusted within 90 days (subject to availability).
- If the band cancels (rarely), we refund the full amount or reschedule.
15. Do you accept special song requests?
Yes, if informed at least two weeks prior to the event, we can prepare special songs for your occasion.
16. Do you require security arrangements?
Yes, for large public and high-profile events, at least 2 bouncers near the stage and 4 with the team are required for safety.
17. Do you offer destination wedding performances?
Yes, we perform at destination weddings across India and abroad, as per our travel, stay, and hospitality guidelines.
